Bringing your business to life one word at a time.

Bad writing = our collective enemy.I know you’ve seen some bad writing in your days, like using the wrong there or a random semi-colon (shudder). Or worse, bland, boring copy that doesn’t sound like you at all. The trick of any good content writer is to be invisible, so that readers recognize your brand's voice and story in your content.I understand the frustration of time spent editing when hiring a writer was supposed to save you time, so I fine-tune my writing down to every word choice to ensure each polished, ready-to-post piece sounds just like you!

I'm Holly, your next
Freelance Content Writer

The fact that I get to write stories every day still makes me want to pinch myself. My freelancing journey as a content writer began in 2019 when I worked on projects in the evenings while working full-time at a digital marketing agency. At the agency, I worked as a copywriter and social media manager. In 2021, I took my content writing career in Vancouver full-time, and I haven’t looked back since.I take pride in the quality of work I deliver to my clients. I’m organized and communicative every step of the way. Whether provided with a half-formed thought or a single keyword, I can write plenty from very little. The work I deliver is fine-tuned to your voice and grammar, ready to publish when you are.I grew up on my family’s tree nursery. Thanks to my parents, I have a deep appreciation for gardening, trees, houseplants, and nature overall (and yes, I am named after the plant). I spent many afternoons outside, playing make-believe and imagining stories. My creativity as a child flourished into a deep love for writing which led me to study creative writing at the University of Victoria. Whenever writing and nature collide for me, I am at my happiest. In my spare time, you’ll find me puttering in the garden, watching the latest Oscar’s buzz movie, fangirling over how much I love bees (buzz), catching up on my book club pick, heading to a concert, or crossing yet another location off my bucket list. Based in British Columbia, I am a content writer for clients across North America.Feel free to reach out and chat. I would love to get to know you.
